Roberto Fustos T. currently serves as Head of Program (Full Time) at the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad de Concepción, a position he has held since 2016, where he is responsible for academic management, curriculum development, and the coordination of teaching and research activities. He has also participated as a Part-Time Lecturer at the Universidad de Chile, Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, contributing to undergraduate teaching in engineering and statistics-related courses. Between 2014 and 2016, he worked as a Teaching Assistant at the same faculty, supporting instruction in quantitative methods and applied statistics. In parallel with his academic career, he gained industry experience as a Geometallurgical Modeling Analyst (Full Time) at CSIRO between 2015 and 2017, where he was involved in advanced geostatistical and geometallurgical modeling, Bayesian analysis, and computational approaches applied to natural resource estimation.
