Morfotipos de Arracacia xanthorrhiza Bancr. (Zanahoria blanca) de Ecuador, como fuente de variabilidad del germoplasma

Se realizó un estudio con descriptores morfológicos cualitativos y cuantitativos en plantas de Arracacia xanthorrhiza Bancr. provenientes de tres localidades de la provincia de Tungurahua, Ecuador: municipios de Baños, Tisaleo y Pillaro y se estableció que, de acuerdo al análisis de los componentes principales, los tres primeros componentes explican más del 75% de la variación total. Se pudo diferenciar con claridad los materiales de las tres localidades, especialmente por el color de sus estructuras vegetativas.
