Chemical Engineer from Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, with postgraduate studies in Sanitary Engineering (MSc) at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. His work focuses on water treatment, solid waste management and valorization, and environmental pollution control, with emphasis on the use of biomass and advanced adsorption techniques for the removal of heavy metals.

He is a former scholar of the National Scholarship and Educational Credit Program (PRONABEC) through the President of the Republic Scholarship (Call 2014-III), an award granted for academic excellence and potential in applied research related to environmental sanitation.

He has experience in quality supervision and process engineering in the industrial sector, as well as in the design and evaluation of technologies for the treatment of water contaminated with heavy metals, particularly through the use of biomass and total reflection X-ray fluorescence (TXRF) techniques.

His research interests include remediation of mining-related environmental liabilities, integrated solid waste management, water quality assessment, and the application of advanced analytical methods in environmental engineering. He actively participates in indexed scientific publications and in projects aimed at improving the sustainability of sanitation systems in Latin America.
