Researcher in the characterization and treatment of refractory gold ores and tailings through gravity concentration, leaching, flotation, and pretreatment processes.
His scientific output includes Scopus-indexed articles in areas such as micro- and nanobubbles for heavy metal removal, mechanical activation of sulfide tailings, circular economy of tailings, and innovative metallurgical processes.
He has served as Head of the Mineral Processing Laboratory, lecturer in Mineral Flotation, Transport Phenomena, and General Metallurgy, and as chair of academic text and publication evaluation committees.
