The present issue of the Journal of Advanced Mining Modeling includes applied studies focused on the optimization of critical equipment maintenance through Lean Maintenance approaches and Monte Carlo simulation; cost reduction in loading and hauling operations using artificial neural networks; and operational time control of LHD equipment aimed at optimizing unit mining costs. Additionally, the issue presents contributions in mine planning, such as final pit optimization using the Lerchs & Grossmann algorithm implemented in Python, as well as the economic analysis of mitigating critical interactions between loading and hauling equipment through mathematical models based on angular geometry.
