Professional Profile and Experience

Geomechanics specialist with more than 14 years of experience in underground mining. He has worked in geomechanics departments at Volcan Compañía Minera (Carahuacra and San Cristóbal), Pan American Silver – Quiruvilca Mine, Barrick Misquichilca – Lagunas Norte, and currently at Minera Poderosa.

He has extensive experience in mining methods including Cut-and-Fill (breasting and sublevel stoping), Room and Pillar, longhole drilling, mechanized cut-and-fill with panels, as well as advanced use of computational tools for geomechanical analysis, instrumentation, and monitoring.

Responsible for stability management, ground evaluation, excavation control, and coordination with regulatory authorities and external audits.
