Conocimiento y cuidado de enfermería en el neurodesarrollo del neonato prematuro

La investigación tuvo como objetivo identificar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y nivel de cuidado de enfermería en el neurodesarrollo del neonato prematuro en la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo y Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2022. En el diseño se consideró una población muestral conformada por 40 enfermeras que laboran en las UCIN de ambos hospitales, quienes cumplieron con los criterios de selección. Los instrumentos empleados fueron el “Cuestionario del nivel de conocimiento de enfermería sobre el neurodesarrollo del neonato prematuro crítico” y la “Escala del nivel de cuidado de enfermería centrado en el neurodesarrollo al neonato prematuro crítico” elaborados por las autoras. Los datos fueron ubicados en una base Excel y se procesaron en el Programa SPSS versión 27; los resultados sobre el nivel de conocimiento evidencian que el 55% tuvo un nivel alto; 40%, un nivel medio y 5%, bajo; respecto al cuidado de enfermería el 62.5% alcanzó un nivel alto, 37.5% fue medio y el 5%, bajo nivel; al relacionar las dos variables, a través de la prueba Tau B de Kendall, se concluyó que existe una correlación estadística altamente significativa evidenciada por una probabilidad de 0.003.
