Influencia del estrés en la satisfacción laboral de los colaboradores de una empresa: Factores, métodos e impacto

Resumen

Esta revisión tuvo como objetivo sintetizar la evidencia científica sobre la influencia del estrés en la satisfacción laboral de los colaboradores de una empresa. La evidencia demuestra una correlación inversa significativa, donde un mayor nivel de estrés laboral se asocia consistentemente con una disminución en la satisfacción de los empleados. Los principales factores estresantes identificados, son la ambigüedad de roles, la sobrecarga cuantitativa, las altas demandas psicológicas y la baja autonomía. Aunque se registran variaciones demográficas moderadas, con una tendencia a reportar mayores niveles de estrés en hombres, un hallazgo clave es que la comunicación organizacional efectiva actúa como moderador fundamental. Un clima de comunicación abierta y de alta calidad mitiga significativamente los efectos adversos del estrés, funcionando como un mecanismo amortiguador que preserva los niveles de satisfacción laboral incluso en contextos laborales exigentes. En conclusión, se confirma que el estrés laboral es un determinante crítico de la satisfacción. Para fomentar el bienestar y la productividad, se recomienda implementar intervenciones estructurales que reduzcan los estresores organizacionales y fortalezcan estratégicamente la calidad de la comunicación interna. La gestión de los riesgos psicosociales y entornos de trabajo saludables se presentan como elementos esenciales para cultivar una fuerza laboral más satisfecha y comprometida.
